It’s our first Holiday Special with episode 18! In GNOW (Geekiest News of the Week) we cover Mistletoe Drones and the dangers of letting a waiter fly spinning blades near customers’ faces, Ready Player One directors (and Watson’s dream cast), and the new James Bond film: SPECTRE!
We’ve brought back the Pitch Please segment to have our podcasters pitch on a new holiday movie. Hear Watson cry out for working class elf rights, Jenny plan a triple-threat road trip movie, while Ryan pitches a movie where the only one who can save the world from a nasty genetic time bomb is Santa Claus.
Ryan plays a fun (to us) game with Watson and Jenny inspired by listener Jimmy Impossible—they’re given two similar characters from the DC and Marvel universes and they must predict which character appeared first in publication.
